Cold Kingdom was created to be a full-out, juggernaut hard rock band and with their first released album, “The Moon and the Fool,” they achieved their goal. Originating in Minneapolis, June of 2014, Cold Kingdom was formed by members of local rock bands from the twin cities area to construct a lethal combination of fury, rock, and emotion.
In their first years of performing live, they’ve had the experience of playing with well-known acts such as Buckcherry, Saving Abel, Puddle of Mudd, Saliva, Nonpoint, as well as festival slots on Northern Invasion, RockFest and Summerfest. This is, of course, because of their distinctive sound and unfailing drive to play energy-filled shows every time they walk on stage. The singles “Crash Poet,” “Let it Burn,” and “Surrender” quickly have become fan favorites and have lyrical and live footage videos online that are rising in popularity every day. Their album “Moon and the Fool” can be played from front to back, over and over again because of its angry and sentimental lyrics wrapped in an unbreakable hard rock casing.
Cold Kingdom is currently in studio recording their second full-length album.
“A zealot is someone that feels strongly about a belief… The concept came from the religious zealots of the bible that fought for religious freedom. We apply that same concept to our music. We have one goal. Reach as many people as we can with our message. We are going to tear down the temple that is the music industry and rebuild it.”
Rock anthems and melodic instrumentation define the original sound of The Zealots from Bettendorf, Iowa. The music scene is struggling in Iowa, which is why The Zealots are aiming to be something new and different. After forming in the summer of 2014, they started mixing rock genres into a masterpiece. The Zealots are nothing but original.
In late 2014 The Zealots were the first band from Iowa to collaborate with Joey Sturgis & his team at mixingbros.com. They went on to mix & master the single Chips the Fish. After hearing the final version of the song, The Zealots knew they had struck gold. With each song topping their last, who knows what is in store for the future of rock.
The band is comprised of four members: Micah Martin, Ryan Housenga, & Adam Housenga.
Out of the bi-polar, seasonally depressed, alcohol-induced acid-reflux heart of the north emerges Minneapolis rockers Late Night Fights. Drawing influences from Grunge, Alternative, and Post-Hardcore, the recently-released debut album “Jousthouse”, co-produced and mixed by James Harley (Quietdrive, Prince) and Dan Korneff (Breaking Benjamin, Pierce The Veil) delivers angst and melody reminiscent of the Seattle grunge era, but with a modern edge. Late Night Fights is the Rock n’ Roll response to all the physical, psychological, and emotional battles that keep you up at night.
LNF has shared the stage with Adelita’s, Way, Ace Frehley, Flaw, and Saving Abel, to name a few. The band is currently gigging heavily and working on a new EP due out this fall.
Early June is an alternative rock band from just outside of Chicago, IL. With memorable vocal melodies on top of energetic guitars and drums, their music delivers a refreshing feel-good sound that will draw you in for the entire set.
The band is currently touring on its new “Speak With Your Heart” EP (produced by Aaron Gillespie of Underoath), and has opened for bands such as Enter Shikari, Hands Like Houses, and many others.
